Understanding and Feeling the Psalms, Part 13
Thriving In A Dry and Weary Land
Questions to evaluate your spiritual life from the sermon:
What’s the first thing you do when you get up in the morning?
What the second and third thing?
What/Who do you think about the most through the day?
Do I live the same way when I am alone as I do when I know others are watching?
Did I treat my spouse with love today?
Is there an activity that I am involved in right now that is not pleasing to God?
If this were my last day on earth, am I spending it in the best way I can?
Is there anyone I have not forgiven?
Am I trying to please God or other people?
Do I love the things Jesus loves?
Do I hate the things that Jesus hates?
Do I love other people (believers and non-believers) the way Jesus loves others?
Do I really long for Jesus’ return?
Am I consciously or unconsciously creating the impression that I am a better person than I really am?
Am I honest in all acts or words, or do I exaggerate?
When did I last speak to somebody else with the object of trying to win that person for Christ?
