Todd and Angela Johnson
MEMBER OF MISSION: CRU
BECAME A MEMBER: 1992
COUNTRY OF SERVICE: USA
The Johnson’s have been on staff with Cru for 28 years serving in Missouri, California, and in Nebraska for the past 20. The mission of CRU City is: "Reflecting Jesus together for the good of the city."
Through our time spent in campus ministry, we gained a vision for raising up healthcare workers trained to do spiritual care with their patients. We train, equip, and mobilize those in the health profession to best respond to the many ministry opportunities God brings to them in the clinical setting. We do this through Dr. Dinners, Ethics Lunches, Bible studies, Global Missions Health Conferences, and mentoring.
Todd is serving on the national team for Church Movements. He is working on developing strategic partnerships to bring redemption to the biggest needs of the city. Much time is being spent teaching a new curriculum for evangelism called "The Changing Face of Evangelism" and another for discipleship that leads to spiritual multiplication called "Sent 6:7."
He is a member of the Omaha 360 violence prevention coalition. He also leads a weekly bible study through Good News Jail and Prison Ministry with inmates at the Douglas County Jail, and helps with prayer times through First Responders Prayer when homicides occur in our city to help let the friends and families of the deceased know they are not alone.
In addition to ministry to healthcare students, Angela continues to reach out in the arts community. In November 2019, Angela had her first solo exhibit called "Created for a Purpose" at Citylight Arts Project in Benson. The purpose of her exhibit is to educate and advocate for those with dyslexia. Angela continues to tutor a student with dyslexia. She gives direction to a mom's group, and has just taken a leadership role with Selah.

Cole and Jenny Leach
Homeward Trail Bible Camp occupies 10 acres of beautiful creek bottom ground 1\4 mile north and 1 mile east of Mason City, NE. Since 1952 we have served the surrounding communities with a campground that is focused on reaching people with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are non-denominational and partner with area churches and individuals who share the same vision. True to our name, we emphasize study of the Bible in a rustic and caring environment.
We offer youth camps in the summer months as well as various youth and adult retreats the rest of the year. We own the rodeo grounds in Mason City and offer a rodeo camp at the end of June. You can also rent the campground or the rodeo grounds for a variety of events such as family reunions, youth group retreats, birthday parties, etc. We can accommodate about a hundred people at one time and have a variety of activities that include paintball, a large slip-n-slide, and a softball field. Please contact us if you have any questions about our camping programs or renting the facility.
Cole and Jenny Leach are the current Directors of the camp and they live and work on the campground year round. The camp is staffed entirely by dedicated volunteers who share the same call of spreading the gospel. Cole and Jenny raise their own financial support as full-time missionaries and count it a privilege to be able to serve the Lord at Homeward Trail.
Homeward Trail Inc. is a non-profit corporation and we rely on donations to continue to operate and grow. We are extremely grateful for all who have partnered with us to allow us to continue to proclaim the name of Jesus Christ in central Nebraska.

RHMA plants and strengthens churches in small towns. Through the years the blessing of God has clearly been evident, as new churches have been established and existing churches given new impetus. In the process, countless have been won to Christ and nurtured in their faith.
